Two-Faced Lamp
These are two shots of the Two Face Lamp. This was a project based around the style of Marcel Wanders, in which I took the silhouette of an 18th century glass chamber lamp and reflected it into an infinite mirror. I wanted to make the modern day version of these old lamps and match the beauty that they possessed in their time. The material is a two-way mirror, so that when the light is on the light shines through, but when the light is off it is a perfect mirror. I also installed a switch that activates by the electrical current of the human touch. This light was put into the Philadelphia Museum of Art for the annual Collab competition.
